This rare vintage S.T. Dupont lighter was crafted in 1988 and represents an authentic example from the Gatsby Gainierie Lzard series. Finished in a 24k gold surface and wrapped in genuine brown lizard leather, this lighter reflects S.T. Duponts distinctive approach to combining precious metals with exotic natural materials. The Gainierie Lzard line was produced in limited quantities due to the complexity of working authentic lizard leather, making surviving examples increasingly difficult to source. This piece has been test-fired and retains strong historical and collector significance as an original example from the late 1980s, offered with its original presentation elements despite visible signs of use consistent with age.
