Unlike standard S.T. Dupont wooden lighters, which are typically sealed under lacquer, this prototype was intentionally left untreated, highlighting the raw beauty and organic character of the material. Macassar Ebony is among the most prized exotic woods, valued for its density, contrast, and visual depth. Produced as a prototype rather than a commercial release, this lighter occupies a unique position within S.T. Duponts design history. Preserved as a complete original set, this piece has never been filled and is therefore offered as untested, remaining in pristine original condition.
