Red wine "Turo de les Abelles" made from grapes Garnacha and Syrah, which are grown in appellasone Peneds DO. The soil of the vineyard "Turo de les Abelles", which is cultivated Garnacha, contains a rocky limestone, contributing to the character of the mineral taste. Harvested by hand in 15-kg boxes. Maceration process takes place in open containers at a temperature 10-12 C, after which the wine is fermented in oak barrels at a controlled temperature of 23-25 C. Then, within 2 years the wine is aged in French oak barrels. Vintage 2008 was bottled in February 2011, only produced about 1500 bottles "Turo de les Abelles."
Viladellops - a small village in the hills between Vilafranca del Peneds, the capital of the famous wine region, and Sitges, which is lower than on the Mediterranean coast.
